Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is an excellent holistic and therapeutic approach to assist the body in healing itself. Whether you want to reduce stress, increase blood circulation and lymph flow, or address specific ailments such as carpal tunnel syndrome, massage therapy is the answer. The benefits of massage therapy are nearly endless. Here are just a few:

  • Relaxation
  • Releases endorphins (your body’s natural pain killer)
  • Increase blood circulation
  • Increase lymph flow (increase removal of toxins)
  • Improve skin tone
  • Reduces Stress
  • Increase energy levels

Every day we do things to our bodies that brings us out of our structural objective, or natural balance. Whether you’re performing physical labor, sitting at a computer all day, or carrying your baby around on your hip, you are repeatedly pulling your body out of its structural objective. If massage is received on a regular basis, the body can be brought back to its natural balance and functioning. Your massage therapist can also help to make you aware of the things you do in your daily life that causes these imbalances so that you can correct them, thus sustaining the beneficial effects of the massage you just received.

Erin Fragapane is a certified massage therapist and graduate of the Denver School of Massage Therapy. She graduated with honors, maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout her schooling, studying 13 Eastern and Western bodywork modalities as well as anatomy, physiology and pathology courses. Her passion for massage comes from her love of using her knowledge of anatomy to assist clients in their individual healing processes. Every person and every body is unique, so each massage Erin gives is different than the next in order to address the individual needs of each and every client. Erin’s favorite modalities to perform include, Structural Bodywork, Injury Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Techniques, and Advanced Deep Swedish Massage.

Erin is a Cleveland, Ohio native, and while she misses her family, friends and Lake Erie, her heart is stuck in Colorado. After all, Colorado is where she met her wonderful husband, Sam, and became a mother to the 3 best dogs in the world! Erin’s other passion is animals, and in 2006 when she moved to Vail, Co, she spent a year working at an animal hospital. Animals can really benefit from massage too! Erin and Sam now live in the foothills at Mount Vernon Country Club, where they love hiking with their dogs on the many beautiful trails. They also spend many summer weekends camping with their dogs at Lake McConaughy in Nebraska.

In the future, Erin is looking forward to continuing education in massage, pursuing an anatomy teaching degree, and starting a family with Sam!
